Sunday, October 11th, 2009

Yerevan is the capital of Armenia that was started by king Argishti I in 782 BC and named firstly as Erebuni which was renamed into Yerevan centuries later. Yerevan is one of the long living capitals of the world and on the eleventh of October we are celebrating 2791st anniversary of our city.

You will find a huge variety of different events in Yerevan that day, such as: concerts, performances, fireworks etc. Everywhere you’ll go you’ll find the atmosphere of celebration and fun.

The agenda of that day is so different and colorful that everybody will find something interesting for themselves. In the various corners of our small downtown there will be rock, jazz, blues, folk and classical concerts, the kids will be entertained by outdoor games and Puppet Theater, the traffic will be blocked and everything will finish with a special firework program in the heart of Yerevan in the Republic Square. Our city will be like a guest house for each and everyone that day so don’t miss it, be here on Sunday and celebrate with us. Let’s have some fun :-)
